Phoenix Bass Fishing League Regional Championship for Lake Murray

PROSPERITY, SC (September 20, 2022) – The Phoenix Bass Fishing League presented by the Bulldog, Choo Choo, Gator and Piedmont Divisions of TH Marine will wrap up its 2022 season next month in Prosperity, SC October 6-8 with the Phoenix Bass Fishing League Regional Championship presented by TH Marine at Lake Murray.
Organized by the Capital City Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board, the three-day regional championship will feature the top 45 boaters and co-anglers as well as tournament winners in all four divisions, battling it out for a top prize of $60,000. , including a $10,000 Phoenix 819 Professional Bass Boat with a 200-hp Mercury outboard, plus lucrative contingency rewards, including up to $7,000 in additional Phoenix MLF bonuses. Strike King co-fishermen will compete for a top prize of $50,000, including a Phoenix 819 Pro bass boat with a 200 horsepower Mercury outboard. Winners will be determined by heaviest three-day catch.
The highest ranked boater in each division will also receive a bonus of $1,000 and the highest ranked co-angler in each division will receive a bonus of $500.
Anglers will depart daily at 7:30 a.m. ET from Dreher Island State Park in Prosperity. Weigh-ins will also be held at the park and begin at 3:30 p.m. Fans are invited to attend the event or follow the action online via “MLF Live” weigh-in streams on MajorLeagueFishing.com.
The 2022 MLF Phoenix Bass Fishing League presented by TH Marine consisted of 24 divisions dedicated to weekend anglers, with 128 tournaments throughout the season and five qualifying events in each division. The top 45 Strike King boaters and co-fishermen from each division, along with the five winners of the qualifying events, advance to one of six Phoenix Bass Fishing League regional championships.
The top six from each region will qualify for one of the oldest championships in all of competitive bass fishing – the Phoenix Bass Fishing League All-American. Dates and location for the 2023 All-American will be announced shortly.
The top Strike King boaters and co-anglers from each division of the Phoenix Bass Fishing League will also earn priority entry into the Toyota Series, the path to the Tackle Warehouse Pro Tour and ultimately the Bass Pro Tour.
